#6 The sixtinini
Hello, and welcome back to our 6th devlog!!😱This is going to be the last devlog before the full preAlpha release.
The last couple of weeks we have been planning the last steps in order to have the best posible release. In addition we the following updates
- We finished the main mechanic in the looting system. Now you can loot items from another inventory.
- New weapon sprites: Now weapons have unique sprites, including their bullets. In addition we fixed the player sprite.
- Loading pages: We added a new loading page, game over scene and a extraction scene.
-Sync fixes: We finally fixed the problem where the items equiped didnt sync with other players.
Sneak Peak😱:
What we plan on working during this last period:
- Music, sound and sprites, this is crucial to improve the game feel of escape from the dark.
- Better enemies and a final boss, now the game is too easy... we plan to create new and interesting enemies to make a challenging game.
- New loot: You will be able to encounter chests with cool and exciting items for your player.
-New final map: We have designed and we are planning to add a new map for you to play!!!
-Tutorial screen and credits. For obvious reasons hehe.
- Extraction winning zone! To improve the game loop we plan to add a zone where a player can go back to base. This area will be very difficult to get to, so be carefull!
