The Fourthdinini #4


Hello, and welcome back to our 4th devlog!!😱

What have we been up to the last weeks... It's been a hard couple of weeks for us as a development team, university is getting hard🥲. For that reason we have been a little slow in the development this last period, however we've been working on the following:

- Further improvements to the inventory system, we are almost ready with the equipment inventory and the basic looting mechanic between two inventories.


- We started the development of armor for the player (it is still not ready to show tho...).

- Finally, we also started the base system, so now when you are not in the arena, you are going to be able to move around in your base and upgrade your equipment (this is also not ready to be seen, and it is just starting in the development).

What we plan on working during this next period:

- Finish the equipment inventory and basic looting mechanic. The idea is that the player can open an inventory, look at what he has equipped, look at the different items he could find and be able to loot different drops from the map.

- Finish the adding of armor to the player. Players are getting armor equipment, so it can protect them from other foes 😱.

- Finish the basic base extraction system. This is crucial to our game design, in the future, we want the player to have a base where he is able to upgrade his equipment, change his loadout, etc.

- We also plan on creating new sprites!👾 This is going to add to the whole game experience and feel, so we hope you like the art we'll bring to you!

We are still really exited on the development of the game, so sit still cause EFTD IS COMING!
